New Blog!

new_blog.jpg

We recently updated this antiquated, clunky old blaaaahhhgg, with a new, streamlined one that's packed with features. This is the last post at this blog. All future posts will be at the new blog. But you will still be able to view the old blog through a link on the new blog.

The new blog has a much fresher design, and displays images much larger. You can search the blog by category or keyword, and even subsribe to the blog via RSS feed. You can view the new blog at www.photoblog98.com. Are you still reading this? Go check it out and remember to bookmark it!

Wedding: Staci & Bryan

Peak/Johnson Wedding 3.29.07

Ceremony: Forest Hill United Methodist Church

Reception: Pekin Dragon Dome

Our first wedding of 2008! (unless you count our New Year's Eve wedding that went past midnight) When you're blending two families in marriage, I think it's an awesome idea to have your children stand with you. After all, they're your biggest supporters. Staci's and Bryan's children were a part of everything throughout the entire day. Their youngest even got in on their ceremonial kiss. I had a fantastic time photographing their day. The entire wedding day can be viewed here.

Moving?

lease.jpg

At least a few people have noticed the space for lease sign in our studio window and asked about it, so I thought it was time for an explanation. First of all, we are not closing our doors. Business has been great, and we expect a fantastic year in 2008.

Our lease at the studio will be up at the end of June, and we have decided not to renew. We plan to move the studio closer to our home in Metamora, but have not found the perfect spot just yet. We will keep everyone posted as our plans develop. Until then, it will be business as usual at Photo 98. Thanks to everyone for their patronage!

Leeanna & Katrina

LeeKat.jpg

I had a great time yesterday photographing Leeanna and Katrina. We started in the studio because of the rain, but then the sun came out, and we headed downtown as we had originally planned. Lots of great images.

Check out the entire session here.

Engaged: Trisha & Kevin

It's nice to be shooting outside again! For Kevin's and Trisha's engagement session, we began in the studio, and then explored some run down areas along the riverfront. Check out their full session here.

Auggie & Cris

Cris and Auggie came into the studio on Saturday for portraits. Auggie is a 2 year old bulldog that is so full of energy and has a cute face that begs to be photographed. I took way too many images.

Tate

Had a great time with Tate in the studio on Friday. This guy loves the camera.

Reay Family

reay1.jpg

I enjoyed my recent session with the Reays. We started out with something a little patriotic. Eric is in the army, and the rest of the family are quite proud of the work he does for our nation. Then we did some civilian portraits as well. Check out the full session here.

Austin

Like a lot of guys (myself included), Austin's not a big fan of having portraits made of himself. But he was a great sport, and we came away with some pretty cool stuff. Check out the full session here.
